Our History

In the year 2004, Portoalegre was born as a vision: the acquisition of a beachfront lot in Coveñas, a place where nature, tranquility, and the Caribbean came together in perfect harmony. Over the years, that space grew through dedication, patience, and a love for the land.

In 2011, that dream took shape and got its own name: Hotel Portoalegre Coveñas. Since then, we have opened our doors to offer a beachfront retreat, designed for those seeking rest, connection, and authentic experiences, always with the family spirit that has been with us from day one.
